About me

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me. I hold a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary and have spent most of my professional career working in the federal public service. These days I'm based in Calgary, working with teams across Alberta — virtually or in person.

I have always been interested in technology and better understanding its role in society. And for a long time, I looked for ways I could bridge this interest with having a 'high impact' career. In 2023, with the public release of ChatGPT, my obsession with AI and questions about its future implications drove me to pursue a career in artificial intelligence policy and my love for teaching others about AI.

I enjoy spending time with my family and animals in nature, playing chess, taking film photos, and the occasional video game. I'm also trying to find balance between screen time and being a mindful human.

I also occasionally publish content on Substack (opens in new tab) and YouTube (opens in new tab).
